A Taste of Paradise =)
Today’s another really really awesome day!
Can’t emphasize how fun today was!
Especially when my jeans’ button is about to burst open any time man. (shall explain why later)
This really awesome day was made possible with a really wonderful friend of my Aunt.
Who's named Lynn. =)
She’s a really fun person to hang out with!
She’s really like one of us.
Grand Central Station.
A sight on its own.
Its like 'cityhall' in Singapore.
The architecture here is like damn nice.
Very Grand. As the name puts it.
On the way we did a Little Shopping.
At Champions (Shoe shop)
Gawd.
U must see the shop man.
Its like just rows and rows and rows of all kinds of shoes!
Sneakers.Heels.Flats.Boots.
You name it. They have it.
YAHOO!=)
haha. Guess whats that for!
Obviously not an attempt for promoting 'Yahoo' or smth.
We finally went ICE SKATING today! =D
We ice skated at Bryant Park, which is near Fifth Avenue.
Bryant Park had like many of those little pretty shops selling all sorts of things.
From cute little Dangling Earrings to Abstract Paintings to Apple Cinders.
All at reasonable prices.
Quite interesting actually.
Skating was really fun!
*Mel and Joey nodding their heads vigorously*
It was like an outdoor skating ring.
Imagine skating with trees all around u, feeling the cool natural breeze brushing past your face and the not-too-loud music keeping you entertained as you skate.
Sounds nice right? =)
Its truly an experience man.
it was made even more fun when my sis and I took turns to let Mel pull us round the skating ring.
At a speed of 1 round/min.
Not exaggerating.
it was so fast that i thought I was almost flying at some point of time!
At the end of it, we were really sweating like mad man.
It was so bad that i felt as though i was swimming in a pool of sweat!
haha okay. that sounds quite gross actually.
But seriously man. I think this's the only exercise we've done ever since coming to New York.
Of course not counting the tremendous amount of walking we had for shopping larh.
When we were done with Skating, we were like drop dead Gorgeous.
haha okay i just had to say that.
Correction. i meant, drop dead THIRSTY.
So we decided to head to my new found favourite drink place.
Jamba juice! Yummy.
U shldnt be scratching your head at this point of time thinking what it is if you've been reading our blog regularly.
So anyway, this time we both tried something new.
Mel had a Banana Berry.
While my sis and i shared a Berry Lime Sublime.
I shld give it the Most Refreshing and Thirst-Quencher Drink award man.
U have to try it if u ever get the chance to man.
Trust me.
Satisfaction Guaranteed.
My sis soon got a craving.
For.....guess what.

CHEESE BURGER from Macs!
And Mel and me had an apple pie each.
Quite cool.
Do you know that their packaging is different from the Macs in S'pore.
But i like the Apple Pie from S'pore Macs better.
Anyways.
Shopping is next.
Again. I know.
But this time, we went to somewhere really really really really really X10000000 COOL!
I tell you...it doesnt even feel like a Shop can.
it feels more like a lounge or a club!
Abercrombie and Fitch.
The lighting in the shop was like very dim and they had like pounding music playing throughout the store.
And it was SUPER DUPER crowded.
and man...we never drooled and stared so much in life before can.
They actually advertised and promote their stores by hiring Male Models as their salesman.
My gawd.
i tell you. You'll faint when u see them man.
Firstly, they're at least 6 foot tall.
Followed by a really hot hot hot Bod.
and a real Sexay face...man...drooling again.
There were like 2 sexay hunks standing by the doorway and one at every staircase. And a gazillion everywhere around the shop!
Literally just posing and saying 'hows your day' or 'have a great holiday' or 'Good night' to every customer that past by them.
Haha. Didnt buy anything from Abercrombie and Fitch but yet nonetheless equally fufilling. =)
Continued shopping.
At various places.
Oh theres this really really cute shop that i personally really liked!

The stuff they had were like damn cool can.
I really wanted to buy almost every item from the store lar!
In the end i bought this really cute pink alarm clock with golden butterflies on it.
Man.
Its really love at first sight can.
Went to another store called new York and Company.
Quite nice also.
Mel bought a top. My sis and I bought pyjamas bottoms. And i bought a black ring too =)
H&M was our next stop.
But sadly, mostly working stuff.
So didnt get anything
Another interesting thing happened today!
We actually got to see real life paparazzi.
u shld have seen Mel's face.
She was like really excited!
It was like some movie premier thingy.
'Note On a Scandal' i think.
Damn cool can.
We actually got to see the red carpet!

Best dessert place!!!!!!!!!!!!
My eyes nearly popped out i tell you,
Just simply by looking at the desserts they served.
and by the awesome decorations!
The ambience.
I rate it 11 out of 10 man.
even their menu's so nice.
I lurrrvvvvve this place so much that bulls can fly!
But good things come with a price.
We had to wait in total of almost 4 HOURS just to get in!!
Can u believe that??
4 hours waiting time!
We arrived at only about 4.30 to get a reservation.
And they told us to come back at 8!
Which we did. (Shopped during the waiting time)
And only got in at around 8.30.
But. It was all worth the while.
Ask me to wait an entire day. I will still do it man.
Okays i know you're probably very curious as to what we ordered.
So heres it.
Main Course
-Seafood Pasta
-Mixed Grill
Side Dish
-Hot Spring Wings
Desserts
-Frozen Hot Chocalate
-Forbidden Broadway Sundae.
-Rasberry Yogurt
In total, the whole meal cost almost 120US,
Thats like around 180Sing.
But man.
Trust me.
Its all worth it man.
It was really Finger-Licking Good! (Sorry Mr Kentucky, Hope you dont mind me borrowing your slogan)

And also, upon reading this entry, you'll then understand why my jeans button is bursting,

think we put on 5 pounds alone at this shop!

Wanted to see the night life here actually.
Theres this place called the Village,
Where theres like a lot of pubs and cafes.
But. It was ICY COLD.
We couldnt take it and so, we headed home instead.
Yawn.
Im ultra tired now.
Guess we all had another pretty long day.
But today was really exciting.
Will be turning in soon.
Tml's another exciting day!
Its like, throughout this whole trip, im always excited bt something =)
