One World Wonder :)
He-lo!!
The weather in New York is so so cold.
Lowest, minus 6 degrees.
Highest, 2 degrees, around there.
I have never worn sooo many layers of clothes in my life.
We look like sausages.
Haha, we were joking that even if we were to fall down the steps, we wouldn't feel pain at all.
In fact, the fastest way down steps would be -
1. cover our faces with our 2 hands, protected by thick gloves.
2. kneel, head facing the steps.
3. take a deep breath.
4. roll head first.
Trust me, if you were to dress like us, you will not feel the slightest pain.

Well, the past 2 days were spent at somewhere really exciting :)
The journey there was super duper long though.
It took like almost 7 hrs just to get to our destination.
But when we reached there, it was all worthwhile :)
The Niagara Falls.

It is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
We now know why.
Gothic literature students will understand me when I say it was truly a Sublime moment.
It was majestic and massive and its natural beauty just overwhelms you.
We just stood there for a really long time beholding the magnificence of one of the wonders of the world ☺

It was there and then, when we were appreciating the beauty of the Niagara Falls then did we realize that the tourists and locals around us were much older than us.
According to Gina, a lot of them were with walking sticks.
But you know how she likes to exaggerate.
Nonetheless, my point is, it hit us again.
How fortunate we, two young girls, were able to come to New York, and behold the Niagara Falls.
Not many people, maybe in their entire lifetime will get the chance to do such a thing.
Moreover, hehe, our parents are the ones paying.
Just one more thing in life we have to feel blessed for.

Oh yar, the place itself where we 3 slept for the night was pretty eerie though.
Eerie because, the place was rather deserted.
Other than the place where u view the Niagara Falls, the other places were so deserted.
It felt like one of those movie settings for a horror show or something.
Like a place which used to have so much life, but now neglected.
Maybe, it’s just the cold weather. Deterring people from viewing the Niagara Falls.

Talking about cold weather, we didn’t get to see snow actually falling.
But, we saw snow on the ground.
First time for Gina and her sis.
Pretty Exciting :)

On our way to the Niagara Falls, we stopped at the Corning Museum of Glass.
It was d**n cool.
The museum showed displays of different kinds of glasses with different colours.
And do you know?
Glass is made out of very fine sand. 70 percent of it, that is.
And to add colour to glass, they have to add certain elements.
Like for Blue colour, they add Cobalt, and for Red, they add Gold.
Cool huhh.

There, we also attended the glass making show.
They got a pro with over 20 years of experience to demonstrate how a glass vase is made from molten glass.
He knocked it, twist it, blow it. Basically molded it into the glass vase.
At the end of the demonstration, they gave away 2 already made glass vases.
And guess who’s the lucky girl?
Haha, not me larh. Gina!
She got the light blue, opaque one.

FOOD.
Wah. We are so gonna get FAT.
Haha, both days, one to our destination and the other, back.
We had Chinese buffet for lunch.
Just look at the amount we ate.
And that’s not even dessert yet.
They have like, 3 whole rows of food, one whole row of dessert, and an ice cream counter.

The past few days have been so packed with activities.
We are simply loving it.
It has already been 4 days and it doesn’t even feel like it.
Gina and I are even thinking of extending our stay.
So we can go explore the rest of US as well.
Like, Los Angeles, California, Canada, just to name a few.
We’re so excited about tomorrow as well.
We shall update again ;)
