Shopping ;) And the Subway Experience

As an appetizer for this post.

Its super extensive and seems Super complicated at first sight.
But well, guess when one gets used to it, its rather simple actually.
This is actually one of the biggest challenges faced by us.
Considering that we can even get lost in S'pore SMRT system. Haha.
But guess what!
We survived it! haha. We managed to get home safely! All in one piece!

Honestly speaking, us Singaporeans are really too spoilt man.
Do u know how crowded the subway is in New York.
Its really worst than in S'pore!
And not only that. Its also rather old and rundown.
Its being built like a 100 years ago and they've not done anything to it since then.
They dont even announce when the doors are about to close.
Mel and my sis almost got left behind cos the door closed b4 they could enter.
But luckily the lady in front of them literally gritted her teeth and pulled apart the doors by force with her bare hands!
Man..haha..im making her sound like The Hulk!
And its damn stupid can, they only SOMETIMES announce the approaching station.
And even when they announce it its like no point lar.
It comes out like some soft unclear whimper can. Totally Pointless.



Finally.
Today's the day that we finally tasted the 'Shopping in New York' experience =)
I must say that its really pretty Exciting!
Gap, Victoria's Secret, Forever21, Zara, Aldo, Macy, le chateau, strawberry just to name a 'few'. Ok. Old joke. i know.








The shops open only at 9. But we were there by 8.30.
haha see how excited we were.
So we decided to chill out at Dunkin Donuts first.
We were too very Excited bt that!

We orded in total
-1 chocalate frosted donut
-1 frosted coffee roll
-1 Mango and Passion fruit Smoothie
-1 Strawberry and Banana Smoothie





It was totally Yummy!! What a great day to begin our day :)
I can hear your hungry stomach grumbling..heehee...feeling jealous?

Our first stop was Gap.
Which according to Mel, its actually like the 'Giordano' in New York.
Ohh..Victoria's Secret was really really exciting.
We spent like almost an hour there!
Their stuff are really super attractive.
Its like they're all being packed in really nice bags and they're like glittery Gold, Black, Pink, Red.
I was like so tempted buy every single thing in the shop can,
But oh well, the usual me. Always getting conned by Advertisements.







Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Sounds interesting right.
Thats where we had our lunch.
Tacos and Barritos were what we had.
Not too bad.
But not really my cup of tea thou.







Next. Macy.
Macy is like this SUPER DUPER HUMONGOUS shopping mall with like 9 floors!
Its so huge that my eyes almost went cocked!
The shoes were like all stacked in rows and rows and rows and rows!
But the bad thing is that its quite messy actually.
But we didnt really get anything from there cos they sell mostly designer wear.
Calvin Klein. D&G, DKNY, Pea in a Pod......



Ohh...and u gotta check out their escalators.
Its really creaky and cranky. haha
Look kinda of really scary actually.
I had a tough time trying to get on it.




This shopping mall had like the total X'mas mood!
They had like really beautiful X'mas decorations outside the building.



Alright. Thats all for today.
Guess we're all pretty exhausted by now.
Its only 10pm here and im already beginning to Yawn...
Tonight will be an early night for us.
