Expanding Our Never Ending List (=

Washington & Philadelphia.
2 more new places adding onto our list of inteteresting places we've been to so far!
Our day started with, the usual, a loooooong bus ride.
But nonetheless, we still know how to have fun! (=

Before we knew it, we were already in Philadelphia!
We got to see the Independence Hall first.
The birthplace of the United States.
The Declaration of Independence took place here.
Cool huh.

Ok i know you're not exactly very enthralled by that.
But check this out man.
The ever Famous Philly Cheesesteak!
If u ever get a chance to go to Philadelphia, this's a MUST that u gotta try!! Satisfaction Guaranteed!
YUMSSSSSSSS!!!!! =D
Its somewhat similar to a hotdog bun.
Only that its so much more tastier and interesting!
There were like a million of tiny pieces of chopped up Beef, slices of Cheese, Delicious Sauses (Tomato, Mustard and Mayo), Onion (Which we chose not to include), Salt&Pepper (Which we also chose not to include)
Sounds good? (=

Along the way, we passed by another eye-catching place!
United States Mint.
Where all the Quarters, Dimes, Cents and Dollars are being created!

Our next stop was the Baltimore Harbour.
A really scenic place.
A total picturesque.
It certainly looked like something that could be printd on a postcard!
Mel found it so surreal.
As though such a beautiful place could never have existed.

Ok here's an interesting finding.
At least for Mel and me.
Haha.
We found out the many wierd obsessions of my Sis!

Wierd Obsession Number 1.

Wierd Obsession Number 2.

Wierd Obsession Number 3.

Wierd Obsession Number 4.

Wierd Obsession Number 5.

Haha.
I saw this tree which had clover like leaves.
And tried finding a four leave clover.
But obviously failed.
The leaves were like so high up that we had to jump to get one.
Then we realised that the picture with us jumping mid-air was kinda of cool.

So we decided to do the same on a bench.

Ready on your mart.

Get set.

Jump!

The Beautiful Sky.
A Rainbow on its own.
We really liked it cos we rarely get to see such a Magnificent sight in S'pore.

At Washington D.C
It was like a place full of Majestic Buildings.
Most of the headquarters are like located here.
Department of Transportation.
Department of Education.
Department of Energy.
Just to name a few.

The Aeropace Museum!!
We were all so fascinated by it.
But guess who was the most intriqued.
Tada!

Ever wondered what a piece of the moon looks like?
Well, we got to see and FEEL what it was like!
Contrary to popular belief,
The piece of the Moon at the Museum felt really smoooth.
We used to think of it as rough, jagged and uneven.
But no, here's how it looked like.

There were like a Million different types of planes here.
So many that i lost count.
Not like i'll know the differences between them anyway.

Haha an interesting Finding which really fascinated Mel!
See it yourself.

More interesting Stuff.
The first telephone.

Marilyn Monroe's Gloves.

George Washington's Battle Gear.

Prince.

First Ever Barbie Doll.

The American Dream House (built over a period of 10 years)

First Ever Flying Object.

Moving on.
The Capital Building.
Yet again another beautiful sight.

The Vietnam War Memorial.

The Lincoln War Memorial.

The Korea War Memorial.

Thomas Jefferson.
3rd President of the United States.
Drafted the Declaration of Indepence.

At the National Museum Of Natural History.

The HOPE DIAMOND. An extremely rare Blue Diamond.
Do you know
*Only one in a 100,000 diamonds are coloured
*And Blue is the rarest colour
*This diamond is said to be cursed ( Misfortune will befall its owner. )

The Supposed Highlight of this Tour.
The White House.
A pity it was closed that day due to some special event going on.
So heres as far as we've got.

Finally.
Home Sweet Home.
Ordered Jap Food for Dinner.

Looking back at the entry i've just written,
the past 2 days were no doubt fun filled.
And we got to learn so much from it!
Hope u guys too gained something from reading it (=
It has already been a week since we've arrived in New York.
But it really really doesnt feel like it!
Okay. i think i've said that like a million and one times.
But that just proved my point.
